The little baby monkey cried loudly, her tiny body shaking with anger and sadness. She had been sitting close to her brother, hoping to share a warm spot and feel safe, but suddenly he pushed her away. The unexpected shove made her lose balance, and she slipped down onto the rough ground below. Shock quickly turned into hurt feelings, and tears filled her bright eyes.
She looked up at her brother, confused and upset. Why would he do that? Just moments ago, they were sitting peacefully together. Now she felt rejected, alone, and small in the big world around her. Her cries echoed through the trees, loud and full of emotion, as if she was trying to tell everyone how unfair it felt.
The poor baby monkey stomped her tiny feet and let out more cries, her anger mixing with sorrow. She didn’t understand the roughness of her brother’s behavior. All she wanted was comfort and companionship. As she sat there, wiping her tears with her little hands, her cries slowly softened, but the sadness still lingered in her heart.
