In a quiet corner of the forest, a tiny baby monkey sat alone, her small body trembling with pain. Her nose was badly injured, swollen and red, with a small cut that had not yet healed. Every breath she took seemed to hurt, and she let out soft, pitiful cries that echoed through the trees.
The little monkey didn’t understand what had happened. Perhaps she had fallen while trying to climb, or maybe she had been hurt during a struggle. Whatever the cause, the injury made her suffer deeply. Her bright, innocent eyes were now filled with tears, and her usual playful energy had disappeared.
She gently touched her nose with her tiny hand, only to pull back in pain. The wound was still fresh, and even the slightest contact made her flinch. Slowly and gently, they picked her up, making sure not to hurt her further. The baby monkey didn’t resist; instead, she clung weakly, as if she knew she was finally safe. The rescuer cleaned her wound carefully and gave her something warm to drink.
